We are committed to realising the high quality academic personal, social and spiritual development of young people as individuals within a safe, secure and caring College community.

We are dedicated to providing “quality learning within a caring environment”. Our strong, supportive pastoral care structure ensures that through encouraging Codes of Conduct, the welfare and academic progress of young people is nurtured.

Our inclusive and extensive curriculum is tailored to the pupils’ needs. We strive to encourage pupils to become responsible members of the community through team work, enthusiasm and dedication.

We are devoted to making the transition from primary school to our College a positive one. We believe that our pupils leave the College having reached their academic potential whilst having gained valuable life-skills and positive experiences.

The Laurelhill Sports’ Zone is a significant development in the College's links with the local community. Pupils have access to the new, floodlit, synthetic playing surface and changing facilities, developed in partnership with Lisburn City Council and the South Eastern Education and Library Board.

    The College wishes to congratulate all of it’s A Level students on their excellent results this academic year.  Overall, it is clear that the attainment of pupils has further improved due to the hard work of students, the commitment of staff and the continued support from parents.  Special commendation was paid to Grant Aiken who achieved ABB, Rachel Stewart who achieved AAB and Rebecca Irwin who achieved AAB.

  • Laurelhill Community College Wins First Prize in the Lisburn Arts Advisory Committee Drama Competition

    Laurelhill Community College is celebrating again!  Following hot on the heels of the College’s success as Northern Ireland Senior Schools’ Cup champions, the College has triumphed again – this time scooping first prize in the Lisburn Arts Advisory Committee’s drama competition.

    Laurelhill Community College has returned triumphant from the eagerly anticipated Northern Ireland Senior Schools' Cup final on Wednesday 21st April 2010.  The team will meet Lisburn city's Lord Mayor on Monday 26th April in the Civic Centre in Lisburn.  Laurelhill's fantastic squad has brought the cup home to Lisburn for the first time in 31 years!
