Year 12 GCSE Examination Results 2011

In 2011, 179 pupils in Year 12 were entered for GCSE examinations. 674 subject passes including the GCSE short course in R.E were achieved by pupils in Year 12 at grades A*, A, B and C. 151 pupils in Year 12 (86%) were entered for 5 or more GCSEs and 25 pupils were entered for 1-4 GCSEs. The overall results for Year 12 pupils entered for GCSE examinations at 16+ were as follows:

• 43.02% of pupils achieved A* to C grades in five to eight GCSE subjects;
• 26.26% of pupils achieved GCSE grades A* to C in five to eight GCSE subjects including English and Mathematics;
• 40.78% of pupils achieved GCSE grades A* to C in one to four GCSE subjects;
• 91.06% of pupils achieved GCSE grades A* to G in a five to eight GCSE subjects;
• 6.15% of pupils achieved grades A* to G on one to four GCSE subjects;
• 8.94% of pupils achieved no grades A* to G in GCSE subjects.

The number of pupils enrolled in Year 12 on 31st October 2010 was 178.
